Trinity College was founded in 1592 and continues its strong tradition of academic excellence to this day. It is the oldest Institute of Higher Education in the whole of Ireland. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across 3 faculties. There is no doubt but that the 47 acre grounds of Trinity College are beautifully kept and hold a very special place in those who attend the school. Students attending Trinity College come from all across Ireland and all over the World; about 16% of the students being International.

Trinity College Dublin is undoubtedly one of the city's must-sees. The college is the home of the Book of Kells- an illuminated manuscript Gospel book in Latin which contains the four Gospels of the New Testament. The Book of Kells is frequently described as Ireland's finest national treasure.
