With summer supposedly being just around the corner, we’re feeling excited about the prospects of new and exciting events taking place around Dublin City. Just this weekend gone, we were fortunate enough to have Canalaphonic, a little gem of a free festival, taking place just down the road from us in Portobello/ Rathmines. Having gotten us in the events mood again, we bring you the next couple of happenings around Dublin City to start looking forward to.

We think that this event is seriously cool. A great way to spend a day if you’re visiting Dublin with the family, this is an incredibly fascinating way to learn about biology of those from the animal kingdom. On display are animals from both land and sea. It’s simply amazing to see such great detail in such a way that’s refreshing and fun to learn about. Gain a great understanding of bone structures, muscles and organs. And don’t worry – the display is child-friendly and done in a way that even those who have a sensitive tummy are safe!
When? May 14th (this Thursday!)
Where? Dalymount Park, Phibsborough
How much? €5.00
Looking for something a little different? Happenings is back again with their fantastically fun outdoor cinema nights. Catch this Roddy Doyle 90’s comedy at Dalymount Park for just €5.00! Expect more of these great outdoor cinema “Fiver Flicks” from Happenings now that we’re coming into the summer months and the evenings are that bit longer. Grab a friend and some bits to nibble on for an inexpensive fun and original date night!
When? Summer Saturdays @ 11:00am

Trying to get into exercise and on the lookout for something different? After such great success last year, Dartmouth Square’s Outdoor Yoga returns again from this Saturday, May 16th!
