Croke Park Stadium
Croke Park Stadium is the famous headquarters of the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association); the core of Irish sport for over a decade. All-Ireland Finals in both hurling and football were played across the country at various locations in the early days of GAA until 1896 when Croke Park was the venue for both the Kilkenny versus Tipperary All-Ireland Hurling Final and the Tipperary versus Meath All-Ireland Football Final.
The stadium can hold a massive 82,300 individuals and has recently become a largely popular music venue as well as a sports venue.
Whether you're visiting Dublin from the countryside or from overseas, the Croke Park Stadium is a fantastic venue to visit to delve into the history of Irish sports. Visit the GAA Museum or take the Eithad Skyline Roof Top Tourfor a truly unforgettable experience.
