The St. Patrick's Day Parade is not to be missed if you have kids in the family. Colourful, fun, and entertaining; this celebratory parade is bound to keep the little ones entertained and happy for the day! The parade begins on Parnell Square at 12:00pm on March 17th. The St. Patrick’s Festival has created a theme named 'Imagine If', The spectacular procession will wind its way through the heart of Dublin city, bursting with colour and theatrics.

See this spectacular sight as Dublin's most iconic building go green over this St. Patrick's Festival! This takes place at 6:00pm on all evenings of the St. Patrick's Festival (from March 17th). Last year saw several famous Dublin buildings lighting up in green, including: Trinity College Dublin (image above), the GPO, Christ Church, Custom House, Rotunda, the Four Courts, The National Concert Hall (just a few minutes’ walk from us here at the Camden Court Hotel), and many many more. This year is set to be even better. Again, this is certainly something that the entire family will enjoy, and at no cost!
