The summer months are finally here and schools are closed with kids looking for some fun activities to do.

For a small city, Dublin has many family friendly places to spend an afternoon. With this in mind we have put together a list of the top attractions in Dublin city to take the whole family for an enjoyable day out!

 

Dublin Zoo

Dublin Zoo is situated in the heart of Dublin’s beloved Phoenix Park and is a wonderful place to spend the day especially if the sun is shining.

The Zoo is one of Irelands most visited family attractions and is one of the oldest Zoos in the world. The 28 hectare park has so much to offer that there is no doubt your visit will be full of adventures.

Imaginosity Dublin Children's Museum

Imaginosity is a great place to bring the younger members of the family. It caters for under nines and is an interactive children’s museum.

Imaginosity champions the 'hands-on, minds-on' philosophy that encourages all visitors to get involved and have fun while learning and create positive and lasting memories.

Viking Splash Tour

Dublin’s famous Viking splash tour is a fun and alternative way to see Dublin tourist attractions on land or water. The Viking bus takes you around the City and finishes in the River Liffey.
This adventurous tour is a must, as it is thoroughly enjoyable for all of the family. The tour departs from St. Stephens green hourly and it’s within minutes from Camden Court Hotel.

Dublinia is the perfect combination of history, culture and fun for all of the family to enjoy. It is a great way to spend an afternoon especially with the Irish weather being so temperamental.

This educational and interactive tour will entertain and inform the little ones on the history of Dublin which is also informative for the adults too.

Take the day and explore Croke Park.


The fun begins on arrival were you will be greeted by ‘Cluasóg’ the Irish hare mascot who will introduce everyone to the exciting tour ahead.
There is also the option to do the Skyline tour. It's Dublin’s highest open-viewing platform were you can witness spectacular panoramic views of the entire city.
