Dublin is the place to be this Halloween with tons of spootakular events taking place all over the city and futher afield. We’ve selected a handful to give you some inspiration. Here’s to a BOO-tiful weekend ahead!
Get Crafty with Cluasóg at the GAA Museum this Halloween
The GAA Museum is celebrating Halloween with a fun new family event – Creepy Creator Tours.
Families will be greeted by the GAA Museum’s Irish hare mascot, Cluasóg, before taking part in our child-friendly stadium tour where they’ll visit the famous dressing rooms, walk pitch-side and learn all about Croke Park.
Back at the GAA Museum, the Halloween havoc begins with a spooky arts and crafts session in our Den. All younger visitors will have the chance to create their own Halloween masterpiece by decorating a ceramic pumpkin or bat candle holder to take home. There’ll also be seasonal scratch art fun, a sticker station and a temporary tattoo table.
Tickets for the Creepy Creator Tours include entry to the GAA Museum where our young, and young at heart, visitors can test their Gaelic Games skills in our interactive games area and see the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy trophies.

This is another one for families, but with older children aged 10-14 years.
This is said to be Dublin’s Newest and Spookiest Children’s Attraction, an adventure that they’ll never forget. They will uncover the dark and horrible side of Dublin’s history and learn of gruesome tales about Dublin’s most infamous fiends, like the story of Dublin’s Count Dracula and the infamous Dublin Bodysnatchers.
The Ghostbus Tour for kids (starring Dr Ghastly) is a mix of educational tales and interactive games, with lots of entertainment and fun, all set within Dublin’s famous Ghostbus. While the tour does touch on the darker side of Dublin’s past, it also focuses on fun and entertainment, and is said to be ‘not too scary’!

Are you ready to face your darkest nightmares and experience them come to life? The nightmare realm has just been awarded the World’s best Halloween event by Unilad Adventures and are Irelands top scare attraction.
They claim to be ‘The only event worth going to for your Halloween experience’. They have been continuously innovating their show year on year, thrilling their victims. They have been doing this for ten years now and are said to only be getting more thrilling as the years go by.
A disclaimer, they are known to be controversial, but it’s always thrilling at the same time. They will most certainly push you outside your comfort zone. They are not for the faint of heart and teenagers may need to be supervised by an adult.
They most certainly blur the lines between fear and entertainment, so if you’re looking for such an experience this may be the one for you.

Warning!! Warning!! Beware of The Wax Museum this Halloween!
The Museum has been turned into a haunted house for the Halloween and taken over by all sorts of monsters, ghouls and ghosts!
We have spotted evil clowns, gruesome witches, the evil grim reaper and even the pumpkin king!
There’s only one way to get rid of these monsters! The pumpkin king has dropped little pumpkins all around the museum and if you can count all of them you may just help us get our museum back.
So come down...if you dare!
