We love the “summer” month activity in Dublin City and with all these lovely bank holiday weekends one after the other, let’s face it the extra day off and a lie in is about the only thing we’re looking forward to with this miserable weather! Visions of toasty BBQ’s are well and truly out the window.
All’s not lost as 2014 activities have certainly amplified since last year and ‘Bloom 2014’ is no exception. The usual venue of choice is the Phoenix Park, Dublin in which case the festivities kick off over the June bank holiday weekend, from Thursday 29th May until Monday 2nd June 2014.
Regardless of the dreary weather ‘Bloom’ 2013 attracted over 110,000 to the 70 acre site at the Visitor's Centre in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. It’s yet to see record numbers again this year.
If you’re struggling to find something to do this weekend without breaking the bank, ‘Bloom’ has something for everyone and fun for all the family, visitors to ‘Bloom’ will enjoy cookery and craft demonstrations, (nothing like brushing up on the ole cooking skills!) free gardening advice (you’ll finally get to master that flower bed!) from the experts, Irish food produce, live entertainment and gardening workshops. Best of all kids attend Bloom for free!
We know your attention span is a short as a spell of Irish sunshine so we’ve added the Bloom 2014 video to give you a flavour of what Bloom has to offer.
