Experience a cornucopia of festive magic at Dublin Castle at Christmas. Set in the heart of the nation’s capital, Christmas at the Castle will have something for everyone, with a boutique open-air Christmas Market, with music from the Dublin Gospel Choir, New Dublin Voices, Playlist, Crux Voice Ensemble and others among the festive gatherings.
The historic courtyard of Dublin Castle will be filled with over 30 traditional alpine market stalls featuring an array of decorative crafts and inspiring gift ideas. Come and indulge in traditional fare sold by artisan producers and soak up the festive atmosphere. There will also be a vintage carousel on-site for children.

Dublin City Council has launched brand new ‘Dublin Winter Lights’ installations at Merrion Square Park.
Visitors are encouraged to keep an eye out for a number of exciting characters, who can be spotted at various locations throughout the park. One of Merrion Square’s best-known residents, Oscar Wilde, will also be participating in the festivities. Stop by his statue to see the writer recite some of his most famous lines. Top the journey off with a hot chocolate before exploring the other lighting installations around the city.
In order to attend this event, visitors must register for a free ticket using Eventbrite. It is important for ticketholders to arrive at the park during their allocated timeslot, as they may not be guaranteed entry otherwise. Tickets are limited to a maximum of six per person. Entry will start from 5pm, with the last admissions at 9pm.
Dates: Thurs 2nd – Sun 5th, Thurs 9th – Sun 12th, and Thurs 16th – Wed 22nd.

The Guinness Storehouse has come alive this festive season with a showstopping Christmas tree curated by award winning graphic designer Annie Atkins, pop up music and entertainment, light shows, festive food and more.
Atkins, the visionary behind the distinct visual design of Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, The French Dispatch and Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies, brings her unique style to the Guinness Storehouse’s first ever Winterfest, creating an immersive festive experience complete with a showstopping Christmas tree, inspired by iconic Guinness advertising from the Guinness archive.

A fun-filled festive experience for all the family. A great way to celebrate the warmth of this Christmas season!
Theatre Lovett and NCH bring us a heart-warming Christmas spectacle with fun and fanfares from the NCH Christmas Orchestra. Host Louis Lovett will bring us some of our favourite things… parading Nutcrackers, classic Christmas songs and festive dance.
Following these seasonal treats, sit back and enjoy the timeless Christmas family classic The Snowman with Howard Blake’s score performed live by our Christmas Orchestra.
Plus… ho ho ho…. a very special guest and loads of new festive giggles for all the family.
