The Gaiety Panto – The Little Mermaid

THIS IS NO ORDINARY PANTO, IT’S THE GAIETY PANTO!

Take an enchanting journey under the sea as ‘The Little Mermaid’ is this year's Gaiety Panto! A pantomime extravaganza with singing, dancing and laugh out loud oceanic adventures, The Gaiety Theatre is set to be transformed into a stunning kingdom under the sea from 28 November 2021 until 9 January 2022.  It’s an extra special year for the Gaiety Panto too as the Gaiety Theatre is celebrating her 150th anniversary this year. Having opened her doors for the very first time on the 27th of November 1871, the official birthday for the Gaiety Theatre coincides with this year’s Gaiety Panto.
Join the Gaiety Panto’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ as they follow Ariel on her adventures as she dreams of escaping the sea and exploring the world above! Expect plenty of twists, turns and hilarious high jinks as Ariel tries to escape the scheming evil witch Ursula who tries to take over the kingdom, steal her voice and stop true love! Dive right in - you'll have a swimmingly good time!

This December the Liberty Panto team will whisk you off on another fantastic journey into Panto Land for the Fairest Panto of them all 'Snow White'.  Meet Dame Nellie, Muddles, Snow White & Prince Harry Hunkadore as they battle against the Wicked Queen Dragonella played by the wonderfully talented Eurovision winner 'Niamh Kavanagh'.

The National Stadium Panto – Aladdin

The National Stadium will now be the home for this year's live, in-person performances of Aladdin, which will be taking place this December.

Described as "Ireland's funniest panto", Aladdin will be on at The National Stadium on the South Circular Road from December 9 until January 2.
The show stars panto legend and TV presenter Alan Hughes as well as drag sensation Paul Ryder and Rob Murphy.

The Helix Panto – Red Riding Hood

The Helix Panto is back with a bang to ensure you laugh your troubles away.

Join Red on her adventures through the magical pantosphere. Will she finally realise her true destiny and save Fairy tale Land from the clutches of the darkness.
With panto favourites Buddy (Colin Hughes), Laurel (Aidan Mannion), the wicked warlock (Paul Byrom), and the outrageous Dame Lola (Chris Corroon).

SENSORY FRIENDLY - 21st Dec at 6pm
This is a special performance with some adjustments to the show to ensure it is Sensory Friendly.
Adjustments include;
- House lights are left on
- Sound levels compressed
- Performers will be aware to contain any shouts or sudden movements
- Any strobe lights removed

Take a magical carpet ride to this year’s Holding Court Panto, Aladdin. An Arabian tale of true love, magic wishes and dastardly dealings, this year’s Panto will excite and delight all ages with song, dance, and laughter.

The mystical ‘Cave of Wonders’ holds the magic lamp that can only be recovered by one of true heart. Our hero Aladdin is tricked by the devious Jafar into retrieving the lamp and we enter a world of wonder and awe as our ‘Genie’ Dame Stuffy makes his wishes come true.
