It’s that time of year again; the summer holidays are nearly here and there is so much to look forward to.
Here at Camden Court Hotel we have put together some of our favourite events that will be taking place throughout the capital.
Bloom Festival
Celebrate Garden life at Bord Bia’s family, food and gardening festival – Bloom 2019
Bloom will run from Thursday the 30th of May to Monday the 3rd of June. Now in its 13th year, Ireland’s favourite family festival provides the ultimate day out for those interested in gardening, crafts, design, food, fun and fashion.
Showcasing the very best of Irish talent, Bloom is not just for gardening enthusiasts. Visitors can sample some of Ireland’s premier food and drink, and enjoy an array of live music, fashion shows, and children’s entertainment. Visitors with green thumbs can get inspiration from the spectacular show gardens on display, as well as exploring the floral and nursery displays, plant village, botanical art exhibition, and gardening workshops.
Other highlights include, a wide range of Irish craft, the “Budding Bloomers” area for children and cookery demonstrations with some of Ireland’s finest celebrity chefs.

Taste of Dublin
Four days of eating, drinking and entertainment is only a 5-minute walk from the Camden Court Hotel.
Taste of Dublin, Ireland’s premier food and drinks festival, will return to the stunning Iveagh Gardens from Thursday the 13th to Sunday the 16th of June2019. Over four indulgent days the city’s latest, greatest and hottest restaurants will each fashion together exquisite signature dishes, allowing visitors to create their dream tasting menu at the ultimate foodie festival.
Visitors will have the chance to mingle with award-winning chefs and like-minded foodies. You will enjoy a host of interactive demos and masterclasses, inspiring culinary talks, beer and wine tasting, or simply relax and take in the live entertainment.

Eatyard Wine & Cheese Fesitval
Can you name a better combo then cheese and wine, because we certainly can’t! If you’re a foodie like us at here at Camden Court Hotel, keep your calendar free from Thursday the 8th to Sunday the 11th of August 2019.
Get ready to taste, eat, drink, listen, learn and dance at Eatyard's first city centre wine and cheese party. This is a festival all about the fun side of wine and cheese without the intimidation, and a top selection of vendors selling the best of the best.

Dublin Horse Show
Dressage and dresses at the ready!
The annual Dublin Horse Show returns to the RDS from Wednesday the 7th to Sunday the 11th of August 2019.
Famous for its world-class showjumpers and well-dressed patrons, the Horse Show is an institution amongst horse lovers. Highlights include the thrilling Aga Khan Cup and the high fashion of Ladies’ Day on Thursday August 8th.
There’s plenty of things to see and do at this social calendar must, including shopping, great food, entertainment and of course, international and national equestrian competitions.

Forbidden Fruit
The Bulmer’s Forbidden Fruit Festival is one of the most exciting summer festivals this city has to offer. The multi-stage music and arts festival takes place in the beautiful grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham over the Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 1st of June to Sunday the 3rd of June.
Set across 6 stages offering a wide selection of different styles of music, to suit all tastes, you can expect the usual fruity cocktail of great cutting-edge sound, comedy, art, good food, and festival fun.
