Paddle through the heart of the city in the company of experienced local instructors.
Discover both the old and new quarters of Dublin in a memorable way.
This tour is the only way to paddle under the famous O’Connell and Ha’penny bridges!
No previous experience is necessary, and the tour is accessible to all — old and young, sporty and not so sporty.
The kayaks are very stable and simple to use with 1/3 people on board each and if anyone gets a little tired the City Kayaking crew have safety boats available to give a tow.

What do you need to bring?
The City Kayaking team work to keep you as dry as possible but kayaking is a water-sport and you’re going to get a bit wet, so be prepared!
There are changing rooms on site where you can safely leave your belongings while you are on the water
They supply splash-proof tops and trousers should you wish to use them and advise you to bring the following:
- Comfortable clothes and footwear to wear on the kayak (these will get wet!)
- A towel
- A change of clothes for when you are finished
- If you have waterproof clothing or a wetsuit you can bring them along for your own use
- We do ask that you dress appropriately for the weather
