If you’re planning a visit to our lovely country, there are so many unique and wonderful cities, towns, and villages to choose from. Dublin is Ireland’s capital and is certainly a place that you shouldn’t miss out on seeing – from the Guinness Storehouse, to the Jameson Distillery, to Dublin Zoo – the list of sights is endless! However we know that when visiting Ireland a lot of our guests start or finish their journey in Dublin, but try and travel around the country to experience the breathtakingly beautiful country views. Along with this, the famous Irish “craic” is often best experienced in some of Ireland’s small towns, where some of the best traditional Irish music can be discovered.

Dublin has almost as many attractions for children as it does for adults, with parks, museums, sculptures, and immersive tours all a short distance from our doorstep. Here are some of our favourite things to do in the capital.

Dublin: Walk This Way

April 30, 2020

We know Dublin is the best city in Ireland (we may be a bit biased here) but every now and again we like to get out of the city and stretch our legs.
Want to head out for a walk this weekend? Well, look no further. We have rounded up a few stunning walks in Dublin for all levels of fitness and ability.

Preparing meals for the whole family can feel like a full-time job right now. We asked our head chef to put together some recipes that we can all recreate at home. From soup to jambalya and chow mein to cheesy mac and cheese - we hope there is something you like.

If you are like most of us, currently at home, you may be feeling a bit worried about your lack of daily routine. Whether you were training for a marathon or enjoy working out at the gym, it can be tough to think of putting your usual routine on hold.

Like many of you, the Calm Beauty team have felt out of sorts the last couple of weeks. Schedules, routines, what they count on to help them feel in control has gone out the window. So, not only have they gone back to basics during these uncertain times, they are finding new ways to bring joy into their days.

Whether it’s flu season, allergy season, or you’re just in the mood for a refreshing, flavoursome drink, a healthy juice is a great idea. By snacking on something as easy and convenient as a juice, you can fill your body with antioxidants, vitamins, and superfoods that kick your immune system into gear.
We asked our chefs to pick out some of their favourite juices that are easy to prepare at home.

One of the world’s biggest cultural celebrations, St. Patrick’s Festival returns to Dublin this March 13–17, 2020. Running over five great days and nights, the festival is a vibrant and dynamic showcase of Ireland’s rich culture and heritage, both traditional and contemporary.
